Welcome to the site that looks as cool under the hood as it does on the surface. The name's tiffer, and this is my home base for new blogs, experiments, and whatever else I decide to build this year.

Tiffer started life as a kid with too much imagination and not enough brake pedals. He split his time between computer games, karate (Wado Ryu), and trying to understand how pixels and polygons came to life on a screen.

What began as an obsession with graphics and game worlds grew into a deeper interest in how technology worked under the hood. As a teenager, he explored programming, 3D modelling, graphics processing, and computer music production, mixing creativity with technical curiosity.

College didn't quite fit the way his brain worked, so he left early, moved into full-time work, and later joined the Army looking for a new chapter and a different kind of challenge. After being medically discharged, he returned to his earliest constant: technology.

Starting on the IT Helpdesk, Tiffer spent the next decade working his way through full-stack development, infrastructure, and infrastructure-as-code. That journey led him into Platform Engineering, where he now focuses on cloud platforms, automation, and large-scale digital transformation.

Today, Tiffer blends military experience, technical depth, and creative roots to build systems that are both robust and humane — always with one eye on how technology shapes real human lives.
